An update from Michel, Rachel D., and Gabriela!
The roof project is coming along nicely at the home church. Today we helped put the beams up for the roof. Eventually the church plans on tearing down the wall in the center of their church and double their sanctuary size.
These are a few of the "Cali Girls" from the other group that has joined us for this week. We've been having fun playing cards, 'mafia,' and last night we sang a bunch of songs by the campfire with them.
Their leaders have expressed how impressed they are with our group dynamic and how quickly our group included their students.
We are seeing more and more kids show up each day for VBS. Some very strong relationships are forming between some of the kids and our students. We will be very sad to leave them.
Tonight we did an outreach in the Mision location where we did some singing, playing with the students, sharing testimonies, and showed them a video of the gospel from the back of a truck.
Afterwards, we prayed for the needs of the people and they expressed their gratitude for our help this week.
It's hard to believe that tomorrow is our last day with these people. God has provided so many opportunities for us and we can't wait to share them with you when we get back. Please continue to pray for us and as always, your messages are a great encouragement!
