The Evangelical Free Church of
Mankato is a part of the Evangelical Free Church of
America (EFCA). The EFCA (http://www.efca.org/)
is an association of over 1100 churches united by a
mutual commitment to serve and cooperate with one
another in ministry and fellowship as we seek to
fulfill the Great Commission. The growing ministry
of the EFCA currently extends to 20 other nations,
which includes nearly 1000 additional congregations.
"Evangelical" refers to the belief that the
Bible is God’s Word and is filled with insights
about how you can find fulfillment in life.
"Free" means that we are free from outside
government or church control. "We the people" make
the decisions and set the direction for the church. |
